The movement in opposition to cuts to community living services and supports has grown. Participants from public meetings  and other concerned individuals have joined our growing list of supporters.

Public Advocacy

Recent BC-CLAG advocacy activities include: 

May 18 2011: BC CLAG members visit the BC Legislature in Victoria to mark the 7th anniversary of legislation tabled to create CLBC by then Deputy Premier Christy Clark, who promised ”better options and more opportunities” along with “a safer, healthier and better quality of life.”  

• Read our press release, reminding Premier Clark and BC’s elected MLAs that families are still waiting for those promises to be honoured and for government to respond to the community’s concerns and recommendations.
